We combine strategy, creativity, and visual storytelling to help brands, businesses, organizations, and creators bring their ideas to life.
WOVN Media began long before it had a name. We met during our junior year at Shippensburg University in a media class, both studying Communication, Journalism and Media. What started as classmates quickly became a relationship built on a shared passion for creativity, and the power media has to shape the way people see the world. While we shared the same major, our paths within it were different. One of us pursued broadcast media, while the other focused on journalism giving us different ways of approaching the same thing: telling stories that matter and telling them well. Over time, that shared passion grew beyond the classroom. We saw an opportunity to combine what we had learned, what we each did best, and our belief in creating media with purpose and integrity.
And that idea became WOVN Media
Different strengths. One shared mission.
Before I became a media professional, I was an athlete.
I spent four years as the starting point guard at Shippensburg University, dedicating much of my life to the game of basketball. Being a student-athlete taught me lessons that have followed me far beyond the court — discipline, consistency, leadership, and the value of putting in the work even when no one is watching.
At the same time, media had always been a part of my life. Growing up around family members who worked in the industry gave me an early look into the world of media and storytelling. Over the years, I picked up pieces of knowledge, advice, and inspiration that eventually helped shape the direction I wanted to take for myself.
I went on to earn my bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism and Media with a concentration in Journalism from Shippensburg University, followed by a master's degree in Strategic Communication. Through my education and professional experience, I've developed a passion for combining storytelling, strategy, and creativity to create media that feels intentional and authentic.
Today, I bring the same mindset I developed as an athlete into everything I create: be prepared, stay consistent, pay attention to the details, and always find a way to make the people around you better.
Media has always been a part of my life. I discovered my love for photography and videography at just 16 years old, teaching myself how to capture moments, and bring ideas to life through a camera. From that point on, I was dedicated to developing my craft.
Growing up in West Philadelphia, I knew I wanted to make a name for myself and create something I could call my own. I took every opportunity I could to create — whether that meant contributing to my high school basketball program, traveling to AAU tournaments, or simply finding new moments and stories to capture. Every experience behind the camera became another opportunity to learn.
Eventually, I decided to take that passion to college and further develop my skills in media. While at Shippensburg University, I studied Communication, Journalism and Media with a concentration in Broadcast Media. Outside of the classroom, I served as president of the Brothers Organization, an experience that strengthened my leadership skills and taught me the importance of community, collaboration, and creating opportunities for others.
What started with a camera at 16 has grown into a passion for creating media with meaning. Today, I bring together years of hands-on experience, creativity, and leadership to tell stories that people can see, feel, and remember.
